ANZAC Day, the national holiday, which is celebrated in Australia and New Zealand on April 25 every year, commemorates fallen World War I veterans from both nations.

Now one retirement living senior isn't letting age stop him from marching in the local Anzac Day parade in Perth, Australia. Retirement living senior set to march in war parade

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Victor Lane, who is 100 years old, will be walking in the annual celebration. The centenarian has participated in the past 10 events and doesn't have any intention of taking this year off.

"Victor wants to march. Once the band starts playing he's always been in step," close friend Michael Munjak, told the news source.

Lane was born in Lativa 1909 and lived in the United States before immigrating to Australia. He fought in World War II and received a Bronze Medal star.

"He's the only person we know of who's over 90 and still marching," Lane's close friend, Michael Munjak, told the news source.

There are expected to be over 800 individuals participating in the Perth event this year.
