Ms. Bligh too is due to host the annual Premier's Senior Christmas Concert hence bringing some Christmas cheer to Toowoomba. This concert is due to be followed by the morning tea with the Premier.
Having commenced in the year 2001, the Premier's Seniors Christmas Concerts is said to have taken place in around 18 regional areas throughout Queensland.
The school children were seen to perform classic Christmas carols for hundreds of elderly residents, with so many people taking active participation in the event.
Several people of the Queensland communities have been reportedly devastated by widespread flooding and Ms. Bligh says that she is very worried about them.
