CLANS ON THE COAST CELTIC FESTIVAL NEWS

An Entertaining Family Day Out

THIRD SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER each year and run by volunteers and charities.

SATURDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER 2012

Held at:

TOMAREE SPORTS COMPLEX No.1 OVAL NELSON BAY RD

NELSON BAY -  PORT STEPHENS NSW

Gates open 8.30am  -  4.30pm  PARADE STARTS  9.30AM

EVERYONE MOST WELCOME

Adult $10  Pensioners $5  School Children 5-18 $2  Family $15 (max 5)

We are supporters of a cancer appeal and invite charities to run at our event.


There will be a parade of bands Clans etc . Singing, dancing, stalls,

food and beverage.

Clan tents, find your heritage, Clan and tartan.

Amateur events for all ages prizes to be won.

Get an 8 person tug-o-war team together and enter via our web form or enter on the day, pick a funny name for you team and dress up in whatever.

You can also practice your pushups and enter that event.

Our record holder was a young lady with the total of 98.

LAST YEAR SHE WENT FOR A GUINEES BOOK OF RECORDS ATTEMPT AND MANAGED TO DO 508 (8) BEING HER LUCKY NUMBER..WELL DONE..YOU WON'T BE COMPETING AGAINST THIS YOUNG LADY IN OUR AMATEUR PUSHUPS

We have the East Coast Strongman Championship Challenge Event to watch each year. Not to be missed

Coming back for more are the... Australian Medieval Fight Group re enactment.

Great entertainment .A hit with the crowd last year
